On April 13, 2025, the Zielona Góra Philharmonic became the venue for a unique musical event – ​​the “KARUZELA GNA ORKIESTROWO” concert. This extraordinary undertaking combined the forces of the Music Everywhere Choir and the Progress Chamber Orchestra, offering the audience new, orchestral arrangements of the greatest Polish hits. During the concert, we heard, among others, “Dziwny jest ten świat” by Czesław Niemen, “Szklana pogoda” by Lombard, “Mamona” by Republika, “Biała Armia” by Bajm and “Nie pytaj o Polskę” by Grzegorz Ciechowski.

Each of these pieces gained new life thanks to the rich arrangements and symphonic sound. The “KARUZELA GNA ORKIESTROWO” concert was part of the cultural program accompanying the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This event not only reminded us of the richness of Polish pop music, but also showed how classical pieces can be reinterpreted and presented in a new, fresh context.
