BWA EUROPA 2025 Festival
We are happy to announce BWA EUROPA 2025, a series of events including exhibitions, conferences, panel discussions, workshops and, above all, meetings with artists from various European countries in as many as 22 city galleries all over Poland. This unique event is a cooperative initiative between the galleries of the former BWA network and the Faculty of Art of the University of the National Education Commission in Cracow and the National Centre for Culture Poland as part of this year’s celebrations of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The BWA EUROPA 2025 Festival provides a rare opportunity to discover the diversity of contemporary art phenomena. The planned events include exhibitions, presentations, screenings and interventions of foreign artists invited by individual galleries. The project aims to combine and use – in joint action – the potential of the unique cooperative network of Polish cultural institutions and to bring the rich common European heritage to the attention of audiences in many locations throughout Poland. We would like to explore it together during local meetings with our friends from different parts of the continent.
The programme includes as many as 19 exhibitions and contemporary art shows, 42 creative workshops, 25 panel discussions and meetings with artists, 4 performative actions and visits of 15 art people invited to Poland for art residencies.
We encourage you to follow our updates and join us in this artistic journey. BWA EUROPA 2025 is a time for art, dialogue and shared creativity.
Up-to-date information can be found on the Festival website: https://bwa-europa.uken.krakow.pl
