The tasks completed in 2010–2011 focused on supporting the development of staff competencies and the programme offering. 2012 saw the launch of the second edition of the programme: Culture Centre + Art Education, which aimed to foster the artistic skills and sensibilities of children and young people through the collaboration of community centres with schools. The latest edition of the programme: Culture Centre + 2013 Local Initiatives aims to increase the involvement of community centres in the life of local communities by discovering and promoting grassroots cultural initiatives. The Centre also operates a programme of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage called “Development of Cultural Infrastructure – Priority 3 – Community Centre Infrastructure”.
