Wolontariusze. Wystawa prac Ryszarda Kajzera / Volunteers. Ryszard Kajzer’s artworks exhibition
„Wolontariusze” to tytuł wystawy prac Ryszarda Kajzera. W ramach ekspozycji artysta prezentuje 12 plakatów, które sygnalizują tematykę wartości związaną z wolontariatem. Ekspozycja towarzyszy I ogólnopolskiej konferencji „Wolontariat w kulturze”, która odbędzie się w dn. 6-7.12, br. W Operze Narodowej w Warszawie.
R y s z a r d K a j z e r - grafik, autor plakatów, ilustracji i projektów książek. W latach 1994-1999 studiował na Wydziale Grafiki Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. W 1997 roku uczył się w Schule für Gestaltung w St.Gallen w Szwajcarii. Po powrocie, w latach 1997-1999, asystował w Pracowni Projektowania Plakatu prof. Mieczysława Wasilewskiego w ASP w Warszawie, a od 2000 roku w Pracowni Projektowania Grafiki Wydawniczej prof. Lecha Majewskiego na tej samej uczelni. W latach 2003-2004 zbierał doświadczenia jako stypendysta Internationales Künstlerhaus Villa Concordia w Bambergu (Niemcy). Ryszard Kajzer tworzy głównie plakaty, projekty książek, ilustracje. Wykłada w warszawskiej ASP na Wydziale Grafiki. Jest założycielem Zerkaj Studio (www.zerkajstudio.pl) zajmującym się m.in. składem książek.
Plakaty Kajzera cechuje malarska swoboda, jakby niedbały gest. Artysta czasem posługuje się formą wycinankową ("Festiwal Filmów Latynoamerykańskich", 2004) lub wydzieraną ("Cień"). Stosowane przezeń odręczne liternictwo, często na granicy czytelności, rozpryskuje się ("Musik Fabrik"), tworzy rzędy oddalonych od siebie linii tła ("Kajzer. Plakaty", 2004), energetycznie promieniuje (nagrodzony na Krakowskim Festiwalu Plakatu "Festiwal Filmów Latynoamerykańskich", 2001) lub kontrastuje z dużymi, płaskimi plamami ostrego, przesyconego koloru.

“Volunteers” - the exhibition includes 12 posters designed by Ryszard Kajzer, related thematically to volunteering. “Volunteers” accompanies the first nationwide conference on “Volunteering in Culture”, which will be held on 6-7 December 2016 at the National Opera in Warsaw.
R y s z a r d K a j z e r - graphic designer, author of posters, illustrations and book designs. Kajzer studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1994-1999. In 1997, he was a visiting student at the Schule für Gestaltung in St. Gallen in Switzerland. After returning to Poland, he held – from 1997 to 1999 – the position of assistant at the Poster Design Studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, headed by Prof. Mieczysław Wasilewski, and from 2000, the Book Design Studio at the same Academy, headed by Prof. Lech Majewski. In 2003-2004 he was awarded a scholarship to broaden his experience at the Internationales Künstlerhaus Villa Concordia in Bamberg (Germany). Ryszard Kajzer's main areas of interest include poster and book design, as well as illustrations. He teaches at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He founded Zerkaj Studio (www.zerkajstudio.pl), a company which specializes in the typesetting of books.
Kajzer's posters are marked by painting-like, almost nonchalant freedom of gesture. The artist occasionally uses cut-out or tear-out forms (“Latin American Film Festival” 2004, and “Cień”, respectively). Freehand lettering, often verging on illegible, appears as if sprayed over a background (“Musik Fabrik”), arranged in spaced-out rows (“Kajzer. Plakaty”, 2004), radiating energy (“Latin American Film Festival”, 2001, prize-winner at the Poster Art Festival in Kraków) or juxtaposed against large, flat patches of vibrant, saturated colors.
